While it looks cool and epic, center-aligned text is hard to read and will be processed much slower than left-aligned body copy.
This is based on how we read text: our eyes (and brain) moves from left to right, anchoring on the left edge of the text, using the right line ends for orientation.
This is why block text or right-aligned text is much harder to read as well – for long bits of information, consider using left-aligned text.
